• BS Medical Technology,
• Doctorate of Medicine – from Manila Central University, Philippines
• NZDREX
• MRNZCGP
• Chairman Academic Committee, MEDICUS fraternity, Philippines.

Skills/experience
I have been working in medicine for 21 years in the Philippines and NZ. I have been awarded a Scholar in General Surgery by the Philippines College of Surgery.

In 1999, I moved to NZ and began the NZ registration process, competing it in 2001.

I have extensive NZ medical experience working a senior house surgeon at Middlemore and Hawke’s Bay hospitals and as a GP in Hawke’s Bay. I enjoy the diversity of family practice, particularly young families and the elderly.

I continue to work part time as a senior house surgeon in Ophthalmology at Hawke’s Bay hospital.

Home Life
I am married to Dr. Alma Del Rosario and we enjoy living in sunny Hawke’s Bay. Outside of work, my interests are computers, basketball, lawn tennis and table tennis.
