She also operates via Royston Private Hospital.
Ideally, patients will be referred by their General Practitioner although self referrals are accepted.

• Diagnosis and treatment of fibroids, endometriosis and menstrual disorders
• Diagnosis and treatment of peri and post menopausal complaints including hormone replacement therapy (HRT)
• Treatment for early pregnancy problems – e.g. recurrent miscarriages
• Fitting of contraceptive devices – IUD and Merina
• Tubal ligation
• Hysterectomy and hysteroscopy
• Treatment for all prolapses
• Treatment of postnatal injury or trauma
• Liaison with other medical professionals – General Practitioners, urologists, oncologists, psychologists, general surgeons and physiotherapists

What happens at the clinic?
Firstly, a full patient assessment, including questionnaire and examination is conducted. From this, an appropriate management plan is discussed and agreed on.

Who manages the clinic?
Leigh holds the following qualifications  MB, Ch.B, MRCOG, FRANZCOG and has special interest in prolapses. She also holds a position at Hawke’s Bay Hospital and regularly works in consultation with urologists, general surgeons and physiotherapists.  

Registered nurse, Nikki Gordon, assists Leigh and is happy to answer questions about the services Leigh provides.
