Bay Audiology is New Zealand's leading network of Audiology services with over 40 clinics throughout the country. 

Bay Audiology focuses on improving hearing and managing hearing impairments. Hearing problems affect around one out of every nine New Zealanders. Although hearing loss is more common after sixty years of age, it can affect people of all ages.

We are fully certified for all third party funding including ACC, War Pensions, Enable, and insurance claims.

Services

Bay Audiology provides a FREE self-hearing check service - to find out more about this offer telephone us now on 0800 800-854.  If a hearing loss is detected, a full diagnostic hearing test may be recommended as a follow-up to identify the cause of the loss and appropriate solutions.

Other services include:

• Full diagnostic hearing test (includes a free half-hour discussion on hearing aids)
• Balance assessments - unique to the Hastings Health Centre
• Supply/fitting/retuning/upgrading/repairing of hearing aids
• Liaison with doctors, Hearing Association, Ear Nose & Throat surgeons, and ear nurses
• Audiological advice including: preventing hearing loss; living with a hearing impairment; and tinnitus management

Who manages the clinic?

Matthew Barker, Doctor of Audiology, manages our Bay Audiology clinics in Hastings and Napier.  He has special interests in amplification, balance systems, and central auditory processing.

Appointments

You do not need a doctor's referral for an appointment.  Our clinics are open from 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
