Our Accident and Medical Centre provides General Practitioner, accident and emergency consultations for everyone.

At your request, we are able to transfer a confidentially transfer a record of your consultation to your normal General Practitioner. If you are from overseas, you can request to take this record with you.

Interpreter service
Where English is not the patient’s principal language, family and friends are welcome to attend the consultation to translate.  We can provide some interpreter services.  When we cannot provide the appropriate interpreter, the Hawke’s Bay District Health Board Interpreter Service is available at an hourly rate.  This covers 37 languages including NZ Sign Language.   All interpreters provide an impartial and confidential service for patients and their families.
