Hours
Mon to Fri 8.30am until 5 pm except Thurs 8.30 am-12noon

Services
Full general practice services including contraception services (IUCD and Mirena insertion), antenatal maternity services (shared with a midwife), well child checks and vaccinations, adult well health services. I also have an interest in geriatric care, joint injection and minor surgery

Qualifications
MB, Ch.B, Dip.Obst, FRNZCGP

Skills/experience
I have been in general practice for just over 20 years and enjoy all aspects of it. My interests span the whole scope of family care and this had led to me become a teacher of GP Registrars (the future GP’s of NZ).

Special interest
Travel medicine including all vaccinations and general travel advice.
Yellow Fever certified.

Home Life
I am married to Anne and we have 4 children, with 1 left at home. We moved to Hawke’s Bay in 1983. Our family life is very important to us and much of our life to date has been spent following the children’s sport, dabbling with cycling, skiing, golf and the garden.
