Our clinic is led by a team of highly skilled clinicians with an advanced skill set in Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal medicine. Our nurses are skilled at plaster application. We have a wide range of casting colours and are the only place in Hawke’s Bay where you can have glitter on your cast!
The clinic is supported by our experienced on-site radiology service which means expert treatment and X-rays without the need to visit the hospital.
We are able to treat most types of fractures and musculoskeletal problems; however more serious cases will be discussed and referred appropriately to the Orthopaedic team at Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
Throughout your treatment the team will communicate with your GP ensuring they are well informed and able to assist where necessary with recovery.
Appointments for the Fracture Clinic are made through a referral from a GP or through Urgent Care.
